Support Our New Initiative Below
DVNF/Human Engineering Research Laboratories (HERL) Partnership
We are pleased to announce the joint effort of DVNF and our friends at the Human Engineering Research Laboratories (HERL), located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an opportunity to change the lives of disabled veterans
What does HERL do?
Directed by Dr. Rory Cooper, a disabled Army veteran and engineer, the team at HERL makes adaptive devices, such as state of the art wheelchairs, for people with disabilities. Their research and inventions have made a direct impact on the lives of so many disabled veterans.
What does this collaboration consist of? How can I help?
HERL is in need of a new piece of equipment that is essential to their operations and the devices that they make. Read through the SlideShare presentation and learn why your help is so critical to so many veterans! We ask that you consider making a donation to this worthy initiative today. Your donation will go toward purchasing a new lathe, which will help disabled veterans learn valuable machinery skills, use those skills for their own careers, and subsequently for the benefit of others with disabilities.
Donate as generously as you can, and help us meet our $50,000 goal so that the HERL team can continue changing lives!
